Das Hauptthema der 13th IEEE International Conference für E-Health-Networking, Application & Services (Healthcom2011) in Columbia MO USA heißt "Technologiefähige personalisierte Medizin", mit der Zielsetzung: präventive und therapeutische Betreuung für individuelle Patientengruppen zu optimieren. Die Infokom GmbH und ihre Kooperationspartner, das Institut für Automatisierungstechnik und das Institut für Präventivmedizin der Universität Rostock, sind mit dem Beitrag “A Scalable and Secure Telematics Platform for the Hosting of Telemedical Applications - Case Study of a Stress and Fitness Monitoring“ vertreten.

1. Motivations of eHealth-MV
- Provide a preventive medicine oriented individual diagnostic system for 24 hour monitoring of relatively healthy patients
- Due to repeated natural disasters, several people are affected by stress and need to be monitored
- High hospitalization rates and high cost for patient and healthcare system
- Data processing, data security and data access control issues
- Target groups/organizations: Health care organizations, Preventive medicine, Travel agency, Hospitals and Sport centers, Employer and Employees
2. eHealth-MV System
- Test Persons wear belts equipped with wireless vital sensors
- Sensor data are sent via Bluetooth to the mobile phone
- Data are sent via UMTS/GPRS to the process database
- The Process database is connected to the fitness and stress modules and produces assessment results from primary data
- Results are sent through HTTP-protocols to the Telematics Platform
- The Telematics Platform ensures in its turn a secure data transport, a secure data storage and controls the access to the data from different user categories
