Infokom GmbH is one of the business partners in the IMO WIND project of the Federal Institute for Materials
Testing Berlin. The adoption of wind energy plants of the megawatt class in the offshore range allegorises a great
technical challenge in consideration of concept, building and the operation of those wind energy plant.
The main aim of the project is the hard- and softwarelike development of an integral monitoring- and analysissystem,
which is able to assure an equipment condition monitoring all of the offshore wind energy plant elements in terms of
status oriented maintenance of the whole system. Therewith connected is the development and testing of adjusted
sensors. All components have to suffice the difficult operation terms (offshore circumstances, safe functionality and
long-life cycle). Additional the recovery of information is necessary to take a safe status analysis of the whole wind
energy plant in hand.
